Echoes Gallery, Photographs by Lee England

I got a new job yesterday working at Echoes Gallery in Natchez, Mississippi. Echoes is owned by Dr. Lee England, who is a photographer extraordinaire. You can see and purchase more of his photos at www.englandphotographic.com.

Nice use of grayscale by the Dr, from trees in the background to the pillars.

I'll be sure to tell him you said so, Ron. He uses only film, by the way, and developes it, himself. That bridge photo is one of my favorites, not only because it's such a nice shot, but also because I grew up with that bridge outside my back window.

When I was a kid, my parents' favorite admonishment was, "If everybody else was jumping off the Mississippi-River bridge, would you jump off, too?" Used to annoy the living crap outta me.

But nothing speaks of home quite like that bridge.
