Dreaming

I dreamed
about someone
I see once in awhile.
Not
a friend.  Just
some man.
But
in my dream
his skin
had thinned,
his hair gone
gray, and he looked
fragile.
I don't
even know him,
really.
So why was I crying
when
I woke
with the hands of an
old woman
twisted
in the sheets?
